DADDIO is a contemporary improvisational group. Their musical offerings vary from fresh takes on other’s work (Sting, John Scofield, The Yellowjackets, Steely Dan, Steve Wonder, Jeff Lorber, Pat Metheny) to original material in a wide range of grooves and styles. But with the underlying bedrock of group improvisation and interplay. Once the frame work is in place they can “rebuild” the tune freshly every performance. And it is in that spontaneity that we find much joy. That is why seeing DADDIO will always be a new experience!
